Campaign Story

Raising money for dance related projects and productions via crowdfunding is just one of the many ways to bring your project to life.

Dancing Queen - raise money for a dance production with ROCCR

Dancing Queen – raise money for a dance production

What could you offer for a reward in a dance performance?

If you’re crowdfunding a project in the world of dance whether it’s a performance or tour, community group or children’s or adult dance school, students or college needing funds, there are simple ways to raise money using crowdfunding.

Some ideas that you could use are very similar to theatre production fundraising.  With dance, thanks to the popularity of TV dance shows like Strictly Come Dancing, the show has helped see a surge in people enjoying traditional dance again.

As such, there is a lot of people who would love a dance lesson. Adding a session or series of lessons, depending upon the value of the reward is a great way to boost your fundraising efforts.

Dance School, University Students, Community or Professional Groups

Whether you’re a small group to a local dance school, professional theatre group or community, your idea can be bought to life with a bit of creativity and ROCCR.  Using some of the ideas for rewards, you can raise funds towards achieving your goal to put on the performance helping to raise awareness for a charity or for sheer pleasure.

As a dance school or student at their final exam, the opportunity to fundraise via crowdfunding is here and we’d love to hear from you.
